Who Are We?
   We are Agency 5-14 which is part of Area 5 of Special Olympics Wisconsin.  We serve over 170 athletes throughout Manitowoc County.  Our management team, of sixteen members, oversees the organization of our agency and meets every other month to plan sports, practices, fundraising, and  other activities.   Our athlete council offers leadership opportunities to athletes who wish to participate.   We are a non-profit organization which operates solely through fundraising, donations, and volunteers.    
 
Our Mission 
   To provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with cognitive disabilities ages 8 and up, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

     Manitowoc County Miracles offers twelve different sports that athletes can compete in throughout the year.  These include team basketball, basketball skills, swimming, powerlifting, athletics, softball, teeball, bocce ball, golf, volleyball, bowling, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.

    Besides the many athletic opportunities, athletes have many social activities to participate in as well.  These include Milwaukee Bucks and Brewers games, Fishing Derby, Annual Banquet, Cycling Club, Polar Plunge, Holiday Parade, Running A-Fair 5K Run/Walk and more.
